RSS option on my toolbar
I just added the Google Reader "subscribe as RSS" tool to my browser bookmark toolbar - now if I come across a website that I think I'd be interested in checking in on as it's updated I can quickly see if it's set up to work as an RSS. Does Bloglines have a similar feature??

Yes. Bloglines has a "Sub with Bloglines" feature. From the main Bloglines page you select Subscribe, then click on "Easy Subscribe Button." From there you'll get a help page explaining how to use it.
